Oh!..

Haven't been here for some time... Oh dear, the new ranklist format looks really awful :(

Expecially Authors Ranklist - it is now just senseless. Seeing my name in the top 10 of the world was quite a strong motivating factor for me. With the new ranklist I'm just going to retire :(

Hmm... I don't beleive this is the right way to solve the problem... I thought about the O(np) algorithm during contest but... Hope the problem is better and we have to get some information out of the way strings are constructed.

Looking forward to see time of Rujia Liu's solution in the ranklist :)

First of all let me thank little joey for such a nice problem! I don't remember the last time I read the problem statement with such an interest :) Personally I was satisfied with Time Limit. My solution using suspect(2|7|61,n) failed and it made me think for a while to find the right way to solve t...

Hi! As for me I NEVER use prewritten code even in Topcoder (I hope, code template doesn't count as prewritten code). Although sometimes it costs me lots of points in Topcoder :-? And of course we didn't know the problems beforehand 8) But after 5-year practice 90% of problems seems familiar to you a...

Hi! But how can there be multiple solutions?  There only might be case where there is no solution if the given angle is wrong, but I assumed that the given data is correct. I just directly calculate the coordinates and print'em without any check for their consistency with the input valu...

Hi! I remember to have the same problem when I tried to get AC on the problem. But then I realized that the problem was not in the algo of addition and/or multiplication. The bug was that there are test cases when you need to add lots of equal numbers and you shouldn't do that. You should get the an...

Hello, Per! I've recently solved the problem. I used your first interpretation: First check if hp <= 150 and has potions, regardless of whether sleepy/confused. If hit by a status weapon with confuse value 0 (i.e. a "sleep weapon"): do nothing If hit by a status weapon with confuse probability p > 0...

Hi! Time limits in problems means the time limits that were in law during contest. Strangly enough after contest all the problems get default time limit that is 10 seconds. Quite bad, I guess. I won't get AC on this problem if TL were 4 seconds and would search for a better algo   Maybe ...

Hi! Your approach seems to be same as mine, even the names of the functions. :P But I think you use floating-point numbers too frequently. For example most of the comparisons can be done in integers only and you need floating-points only for calculating the final result. Hope this helps. If you need...

Just interested: why you couldn't get 0.000 sec? :P
And isn't your 'trick' is just another attempt of getting correct judge output and sending it?

Bye.
Andrey.
