I understand that, but I just hope this won't be forgotten in future.
Thanks for response, anyway.

Shorter URLs

I want to suggest that the new system should use shorter and more simple URLs. For example, look at this current URL: http://icpcres.ecs.baylor.edu/onlinejudge/index.php?option=com_onlinejudge&Itemid=8&category=3&page=show_problem&problem=36 It would be a lot better to be just http://icpcres.ecs.bay...

Re: SVG rendering

About your suggestion about using JavaScript + Canvas: I don't think this is a good idea. This basically means "reimplement" a renderer using JavaScript using a new object that not many browsers support. Your suggestion about using server-side images work, but I feel it is not optimal yet. I have an...

160 - WA

Instead of starting a new thread, I will post in this one.

Here is my code: (deleted)

I've tested it for all numbers from 2 to 100. The output looks correct to me. But I still get wrong answer. Can someone help me?

Suggestion: display current time at status page

Since this site is used by people around all world, I think it would be a very useful enhacement to display current time at submission status page. It will be easier to keep track of time, and will avoid manual timezone conversions.

If I remember correctly, the old judge status page had that.

One more question: In this problem, we must discover if we can transform the first pattern into second one in *one* step, right? So: X.. and ..X would answer -1. Is this right?

hey, wait! The sample output says the first pattern requires 0 swaps, but the problem description says it requires 1 swap... Something is very wrong here.

About the kind of RE....that won't be possible using the new system, since it's not stored in the DB. I don' think it's a useful feature, since you can get it from the mail reponse, and other people don't care about your kind of RE. In fact, I think it is useful. Some people don't have mail respons...

Customize status page and Runtime error report

At old status page (cgi-based), we could customize it a lot. All customization is documented at: http://acm.uva.es/problemset/status.html With the new status page (php-based), what are the customizations available? Also, with the old status page, the Runtime Error message was more detailed, includin...

Oh, much better! Really thanks! Only one more thing: you forgot to set background color to white, on homepage. When people (like me) modifies the default bgcolor of their browser, page looks just a bit uglier. Anyway, thanks for photo resize, and for fixing the doctype issue. Page is much better now.

Interesting how the status page has a very similar "layout", but is not displayed bad, as homepage. [edit: investigation done!] Well, with no doctype, then the page is displayed correctly. With HTML Transitional doctype (a valid one), the page is displayed almost correctly. However with an invalid d...

Page display bug in Opera

The page is displayed very bad in Opera . I know the reason: the page does not have a valid doctype. The first line of homepage source says: <!DOCTYPE HTML SYSTEM> But this is an invalid doctype. Just change this line to: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3....

The photo in the front page is too big

I know, there is another topic with the same name. However, this "problem" is not solved yet. The image continues as big as before, but it is shrinked by browser. I mean, the image sent to browser is still 2616x1864, with 463KB. An image of 240x170 occupies only 20KB. The solution should be somethin...

It reads "The first line of input contains how many game you have to solved followed by blank line.", it should read: "The first line of input contains how many games you have to solve followed by blank line." Ok, this is a really small change, but I felt I should report it. I'm not sure where I sho...
