I had already got PE in the 10894. But after resubmitting to the new Judge System I got WA. I don't think it is due to Compiler because the code has just some simple fors. How could a compiler change the behavior of some fores? I think there is a serious problem somewhere in this new system. I don't...

They have changed the compiler, and it will cause so many problem. Just consider if they want to rejudge some codes what will happen? most of them would get CE this time. Nevertheless, I know gcc2.97 was too old and it was a god idea to utilize a new version of compiler but there should be the old c...

I have forgotten Pascal language but I had a similar problem in C++ especially in 2 problems: 10389 which I used cin and getline for reading the inputs which gave me WA after I changed into scanf I got it. But in 10401, the story was different. The judge has some extra space at the end of lines. Som...

Some Suggestions

At the beginning I am grateful for your efforts on this new system. The improvement of the old judge is a very good idea. I have some suggestions for the new judging interface. 1- Please add the author statistics as we had in uva before. in this way we can browse our solve/not solved problems easily...

I had a similar problem. For problem 10014, which I got PE and the new judging policy considers it as a Not-Solved, I tried to resubmit it, It was written in Ansi-C and I got RE, after changing the compiler to C++ I got AC. It was weird. I don't know why this happened? This code just uses a very sim...

A simple improvement which is applicable to your code is try not to use sqrt function. Also you can find out whether the point is inside or on the triangle or not. I know you can find its formula with a little knowledge of Euclidean geometry.

Spoiler: use the area for the determination.

Obviously a simple brute force method does not provide the response in the limited time. Try to improve your code a bit!

WoW I had gotten this problem years ago, but I was noticed that my AC had changed into WA. I just change my output formating and I got it again.
I think judge still has so many problem with PE which made itself to consider some PE as WA.

Cube 1 cube 2 .. 5 = 5
Cube 1-2, 1-3,1-4,1-5=4
Cube 1-2-3,1-2-4,1-2-5=3
.
.
.
You can compute the rest. also please pay attention to 31=2^5-1 = C(5,1)+C(5,2)+C(5,3)+C(5,4)+C(5,5)
Ok?

Normaly, A problem should accept if we write it with a good computational complexity order, otherwise We might get TLE. but in UVA, things are different! I have seen a few problems which their solution with STL, got TLE but with a self implemented code for functions and data structures, they became ...
