Migration

Post by yiuyuho » Sat Jun 02, 2007 10:21 pm

So is the entire UVa problem set archieve going to be migrated onto baylor's server?

The new server seems to be more advanced and better!

I didn't participate in UVa's online contests for a while and just realised there is a system migration. I tried to register (with FireFox 2.0.0.4) in this page:
http://icpcres.ecs.baylor.edu/onlinejud ... =registers

But I got this messgae after click the "Send Registration" button:
Registration session expired and/or cookies are not enabled in your browser.
I still got the same message even I made FireFox allow cookies explicitly for that site. So, I missed the Waterloo's contest. What's wrong and what should I do?
I code, therefore I am.

Try this:

on the FireFox menu bar->Tools --> Options-->Privacy-->Show cookies-->Remove All cookies-->Yes

Oh. it turns out to be a problem of my own machine. (I still don't know the prblem though.)
Everything is fine after I switch to another machine to register.
I code, therefore I am.
