And still Fernando a question -- why we have, let's say, not that many problems in "World Archive"? Don't you have the tests for the rest of the problems?

Exactly, just on the dot. Regional problemsetters don't like either to release the in/out used in the finals, nor to create in/outs for us. So...

Year... "nice" :-( But I really want to solve a few of those problems! And, because of somebody I cann't do that???

I wonder, Prof. William B. Poucher (the director of ACM, if I'm not mistaken) is informed about that? He should be...

Sure, he is. You can contact Professor Miguel Revilla and ask further details on this, I don't remember what the whole thing is...

Ok -- I'll try to clear up the situation.

But still -- the situation is really a big bazar! What do they mean by "...don't want to give an archive..." Why? Wherefore? I don't see any seasons exept laziness and greediness.

Say, if you have the problemset , maybe you could create your own In/ Out file. Perhaps by using people like Sahriar Manzoor, Derek Kisman, who are no longer solving problem for the purpose of increasing their UVA rank. So it won't matter if they know the In/Out file.

We're always open for help. It is not the first time we ask for it. Some people is already helping us (for example Shahriar Manzoor).

Well, I was surprised to see my name in so many posts so I put a general reply here.

First of all I use my free times setting new problems. So I cannot make data for the regionals.

Secondly:
[Quoting Shamim]
"Say, if you have the problemset , maybe you could create your own In/ Out file. Perhaps by using people like Sahriar Manzoor, Derek Kisman, who are no longer solving problem for the purpose of increasing their UVA rank. So it won't matter if they know the In/Out file."

I just want to say I am not in the same class with Derek Kisman. He is the best in the world (to me undoubtedly but others may argue). And he still solves a lot of problems and not lazy like me (Who only sets one or two easy problems). The above paragraph gives the wrong impression that me and derek are in the same class.

Thirdly:
Many regions are still novice in problem setting so they don't have the confidence to release data. Most of the great regions release data. But situation is improving. Still there are regions who prepare data manually. Some regions give accepted verdict if answer is near. So those people will not release data and you must understand that :D.

Hmm...you are using the latest version of phpBB 2.0.6!

It's also good to see that you've utilized it's subforum feature with the regional section!

Nice and of course it'll be useful :D
