hey mamun, football does not have any of the logic that we use in computing!

Referees are so bad..

Always good to strong teams

ex) Italy, Swiss(I think this contury is not very good at soccer. but in match Korea vs Swiss, many koreans think Frei's goal is offside but referee said goal. I think it's wrong.), etc..

And Swiss players did handling at least 3 times(according to news).

So some koreans say Swiss plays handball in World Cup..

Swiss programmers, don't be angry.

It's only my opinion. :)

In word cup of 2002 there were some mistakes by the referees. Korean team were blessed by some of those mistakes. So I guess these things happen it football.

The penalty that italy got was definitely wrong but again these things happen.

No more African representatives now :( Ghana went down 3-0 but again.. there was some mistakes from the referees.

Who you think had been the best player for this tournament? Ronaldinho had not shown us the tricks he used to do.

Michael Ballak is doing very well. At least he did really well against Sweden!

We're having a very balanced world cup this time. Teams from each group are in the quartar finals, 6 of which are formaer champions. No upset has occured this time.

France is improving with time. Brazil wiil have to play better to break France's defence and also defend the attacks.

There will be repeats of '98 and '90 finals. England vs. broken Portugal match also will be fascinating.

Get ready for the threaling show!!!!!!! 8)

The last time Brazil lost in the Finals was against France. So, could they break Brazils winning streak?

to shahriar manzoor:

I know, but Korean team played well in 2002 World Cup.

So I think referee's mistake was not very effective to match.

I don't think a draw against switzerland would have seen Korea through this year as france won 2-0 against togo. So I guess the mistakes of the referee did not have any effect in the long run :)

But ofcourse you have right to complain.

As long as Brazil's off-side goles(run time error!) are getting accepted, so it is possible - they will win the world cup!!!! :x

And the results also repeated!!!

I think, Germany took the biggest step towards championship by just overcoming Argentina, the best team in this world cup. Brazil played their first big match and lost! Scolari is showing his coaching talent with Portugal this time.

All European championship now! No outsider takes cup from Europe's soil?

Who has played the best? I think Zinedine Zidane (France) and Riquelme (Argentina). Not that speedy at this age. But with brillian dribbling and ball controlling and intelligent and perfect passes and crosses, Zidane is showing his class. Any doubt about Zidane?
