National Taiwan University=>PG the Evil

Post by shahriar_manzoor » Wed Oct 25, 2006 6:28 am

I just found this team name at Manila site. I was just curious if PG is the short of some contest related person's name? Because I am so accustomed to hear that adjective with that person :). Can anyone confirm.

Ingenious, no doubt about that 8)...IMHO it has a good chance of being what you are probably thinking cause as soon as I saw 'PG the evil', only one ellaboration struck my mind, which I think is very much obvious. :roll:

The name of the other team of National Taiwan Univ in Manila is Gaudeamus, which is a kind of song. I found it when I searched the internet. Last few lines of a typical Gaudeamus is:

Long live the state and those who rule it.
Long live our city, and the charity of benefactors
Which protects us here.

Let sadness perish, Let haters perish.
Let the devil perish, whoever is against the students,
And those who mock us!

So I guess all the names are well planned :).
