Google presents Shaastra Online Programming Contest 2010!

Shaastra OPC, sponsored by Google this year, has been an integral part of Shaastra, the tech fest of Indian Institute of Technology Madras, since 2006, with more than 1000 teams participating from across the world each year. It is a traditional algorithmic programming contest open to university students, lasting 5 hours, with 7-8 problems, both easier ones to encourage budding coders and tough ones to challenge the pros.

Total prize money worth Rs 80,000 to be won!

Inspired by Project Euler, we at Shaastra 2010 bring you an online event for those interested in the application of computing power to solve mathematical problems. You will be given a set of 6-8 problems of computational nature the answer to which is a positive integer. You can use any tool at your disposal to arrive at the correct answer.
